Kenai Fjords Full-Day National Park Cruises
This thrilling full-day cruise travels throughout the Kenai Fjords National Park and the Chiswell Islands National Wildlife Refuge. Covering 120-miles, the trip is narrated by a National Park Ranger, who is highly adept at spotting wildlife, pointing out the many spectacular sights, and fielding any questions you may have.
Wildlife is abundant throughout the National Park, and the tidewater glaciers are massive. You'll visit the mighty Aialik Glacier where guests often witness calving - a process by which glaciers shed giant blocks and slabs of ancient ice - from a close distance. This cruise also offers the best opportunity for whale watching in Alaska. With photo opportunities galore, your cruise will be unforgettable.
Our full-day Kenai Fjords cruises depart daily from Seward, a seaside town located 125 miles south of Anchorage on Alaska's famous Kenai Peninsula. The highly scenic drive to Seward from Anchorage provides countless views of mountains, inlets, lakes, rivers, glaciers and more. If you'd rather use your travel time to sit back and relax while you gaze at the spectacular sights, we are more than happy to arrange roundtrip transportation via motorcoach or the legendary Alaska Railroad.
Major Marine Tours also offers half-day Kenai Fjords Wildlife Cruises departing from Seward Alaska, and half-day Prince William Sound Glacier Cruises departing from Whittier Alaska. Qualify for discount fares when you book more than one cruise with Major Marine Tours.
